This is an initiative to raise funds, awareness, and support for artist and writers in Gaza.

Through this website, as well as printed materials – such as books, zines, prints, bookmarks, and more.

These materials mainly feature work from those in Gaza, but there’s also art and writings from other the West Bank, occupied ‘48, the diaspora, and those globally who support Palestinian liberation.

Another goal is to archive their voices and spread awareness, education, and appreciation for these individuals who are not often seen or heard in art/lit spaces to directly fight against cultural erasure. You can sign up for our free newsletter for more.

Resources

As part of our efforts, the goal is to provide a list of ways to support artists and writers/poets in any way possible.

Our use of selling materials to fundraise is just one method. We encourage all to directly contribute to these campaigns and to mobilize larger organizations or institutions to help. This is a collective effort and a responsibility of all artists, poets, writers, and people of conscience.

Get Involved - Action Items

Choose a campaign to support
Go through our list of artists and writers and support campaigns regularly (i.e. monthly). Even small but consistent donations help!

Print out flyers - Share, distribute, or put up in your area
Go through our drive folder and print out our information flyer or individual people’s work to amplify their voices and campaigns. You can put these up in your neighborhood, workplaces, schools, anywhere.

Host readings or art exhibitions
Reach out to us to coordinate with artists/writers on setting up an event to feature their work and fundraise locally. Email artpoetry4pal@gmail.com

Volunteer to setup a fundraising campaign
There are many artists and writers who are in need of people from other countries to set up fundraising pages for them to be able to collect money. Email us to find out more about those in need of this service.

Offer translations
If you know other languages and can help translate from Arabic or English into another, go ahead and do this on your own or feel free to reach out to us on any thoughts. A good reference is El Canto del Suimanga, working to share Gazan poets in Spanish.

As Palestinian writer Susan Abulhawa recently said,

“One of the most overlooked and underestimated parts of resistance is memory.

We must all remember…
Memory is our revenge.
Truth is our revenge.
And eventually, the laughter
of our children
in a liberated Palestine
is our revenge.”

COASTAL LINES PRESS

Coastal Lines Press is a new collective of writers in Gaza, launched in September 2025. Their goal is to turn words into life-saving supplies for our families through their initiative of creating digitally-reprintable zines that “travel like tiny vessels from coast to coast, carrying stories of survival, resistance, and hope.”
